It’s been nine days since I last updated my diary, telling you all it was time for a lifestyle change. It might sound cliche or gimmicky, but I genuinely am trying to reboot my life through more exercise and a better diet. This also includes spending less time online, which unfortunately means less blog posts. Soz-a-tron! But you know what they say, less is more.
Since my last update I’ve been to my new gym a further three times, which when you bear in mind I’ve been in England for four of the nine days, I think that’s pretty good! I’ve grown fond of a machine called the Whole Body Crossramp which is like a cross trainer with bells and whistles on. When I’ve lost some (fat) weight, I’m going to enlist the help of one of the personal trainers to introduce me to weights, as I’ve no real idea what I’m doing there.
So yeah, I spent the weekend back in England visiting Andrew. He’s been working really hard on researching nutrition that’s relevant to daily life, so I’ve brought loads of tips and ideas back to Oslo. We did our best to eat healthily all weekend, much to the disappointment of Andrew’s granny when we didn’t order a dessert at the carvery. But tough choices must be made! Considering we normally indulge in ice cream, doughnuts, chocolate, pizza, oh GOD so much pizza, I think we did good.
It’s been a positive start, long may it continue. My focus has been almost exclusively on this for the past two weeks, but don’t worry, that doesn’t mean this blog is going to turn into a preachy diet and fitness blog! I have a social weekend coming up and I am taking my camera with me, so expect more Oslo related posts coming right up 🙂
